  1. Thank you @altae This has already been acknowledged in the recent 1.9.4 Mac beta, so is likely to be fixed at the same time.
  2. I cannot see any option for this in the control panel. AFAIK the only scaling is browser scaling he whole webpage, and I understand this is not what you were asking for. We could create another "theme" but I am not sure how you would opt in. If there is time I will play on another instance
  3. Please don't argue, customers can ask for things they want. If you don't agree, just move on. We're not short of ideas or a long term plan. There's no need to use other websites to collect this information.
  4. You absolutely can run it on 10.10 but the new "My account" feature requires a later version of Safari than is supported, so it cannot be registered in app. If you want to register the application (it's entirely optional) you can email affinity@serif.com and ask them to do it for you. No other function requires the later OS
  5. Honestly William this thread does not belong in the share your work forum and you are really overreacting to change.
  6. it's just under the first post on each page, not at the side (and now does not include "popular days in this thread" or "images posted")
  7. @Bryan Rieger I have split this into it's own topic as it may not be seen in that older thread, which refered to an issue we think we have fixed so yours may be a new issue. (sorry for my previous incorrect reply)
  8. If the post is the first post, it has that effect. AFAIK The whole thread is hidden when the Author hides their first post, (not the just the first post is hidden leaving the rest behind) In other words you do only have the right to hide your own posts, and as a consequence you can hide a whole thread if you are the OP. surprising, but true as I understand it
  9. that is hard to argue with... will think on it. This is not new and you have been able to hide your own content for around 2 years. It was added when users wanted to stop an argument, as they felt intimidated by other forum users and meant that the moderators could still see what had been said, but the argument stopped because the post was "gone"
  10. yeah, it is so odd that a user can hide but not unhide their own posts... I do not think there is a way to do that. Hide is quite destructive
  11. It is a moderator option... that I have given to all users. Would you like me to remove it from you?
  12. If the topic is YOUR topic you see that option, and that is correct even if you are not a moderator. That is not new, just moved it's location. The space issue is discussed above and will be investigated
  13. Hardware acceleration is working well for thousands of users, so it is on by default. We are still working on this but the driver manufacturers are working with us as we are calling functions that should work, but the drivers are crashing. This is bleeding edge development with NVIDIA and other hardware manufacturers working directly with us on a daily basis. Hardware acceleration is a new feature in 1.9.0 and if it does not work for you then turning Hardware acceleration off is not "degrading the software" , it is making it use the same codepath that 1.8.5 used to draw, so is as fast as it used to be.
  14. This is your choice, https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/settings/links/
  15. Where is this configurable? I mean we have never sent one but I remember seeing it when I signed up, cannot find it now
  16. No, signing into the store My Account feature is registering the app. They are one and the same thing.
  17. Not seeing that, I get same as the forums. It initially draws that 3/4 size then quickly resizes to the right width (2 stage draw kind of thing) Something is stopping that recalculation/resize on your browsers.
  18. yeah. I turned them back on to see if 8) could be individually turned off ... it cannot
  19. Yes, just sign out of the My Account feature in Publisher and then sign in using the same email address as Photo and Designer.
  20. Oh yes, well spotted. The registrations do not have to be on the same account as you purchased on. You can register them all on the same account, preferably the one where you have the downloadable content.
  21. you presume correctly best I can do is that staff posts can be hilighted in the thread. This is now on as a trial, for example my replies have a grey shadow.
