  1. yeah, it is so odd that a user can hide but not unhide their own posts... I do not think there is a way to do that. Hide is quite destructive
  2. It is a moderator option... that I have given to all users. Would you like me to remove it from you?
  3. If the topic is YOUR topic you see that option, and that is correct even if you are not a moderator. That is not new, just moved it's location. The space issue is discussed above and will be investigated
  4. Hardware acceleration is working well for thousands of users, so it is on by default. We are still working on this but the driver manufacturers are working with us as we are calling functions that should work, but the drivers are crashing. This is bleeding edge development with NVIDIA and other hardware manufacturers working directly with us on a daily basis. Hardware acceleration is a new feature in 1.9.0 and if it does not work for you then turning Hardware acceleration off is not "degrading the software" , it is making it use the same codepath that 1.8.5 used to draw, so is as fast as it used to be.
  5. This is your choice, https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/settings/links/
  6. Where is this configurable? I mean we have never sent one but I remember seeing it when I signed up, cannot find it now
  7. No, signing into the store My Account feature is registering the app. They are one and the same thing.
  8. Not seeing that, I get same as the forums. It initially draws that 3/4 size then quickly resizes to the right width (2 stage draw kind of thing) Something is stopping that recalculation/resize on your browsers.
  9. yeah. I turned them back on to see if 8) could be individually turned off ... it cannot
  10. Yes, just sign out of the My Account feature in Publisher and then sign in using the same email address as Photo and Designer.
  11. Oh yes, well spotted. The registrations do not have to be on the same account as you purchased on. You can register them all on the same account, preferably the one where you have the downloadable content.
  12. you presume correctly best I can do is that staff posts can be hilighted in the thread. This is now on as a trial, for example my replies have a grey shadow.
  13. in the My Account feature you can uninstall them also.
  14. @AgentWayward Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums 🙂 The Photo persona in Publisher is not actually running Photo, so the asset panel is not "the same one". If you use the My account feature in Publisher it should additionally install the Photo assets too and they should appear in the Photo persona of Publisher. Is that not working for you?
  15. yeah, I do not think it is an option and we are not going to start changing the code ourselves, but if I find it as a configurable option I will turn it on.
  16. I would like to give it more than 24 hours use and four person's feedback before changing our minds on this. I like it
  17. No it is not possible or (in my opinion) desirable. These are not bespoke forums, they are off the shelf with some configuration. Staff do not comment on those feature request threads normally and so any that happen to have a comment means nothing more or less about those threads than those that don't have a staff comment. Adding a badge would make it look like they had been acknowledged and not having a badge would look like it had not been seen. That is not true and so a badge is very unhelpful (and not possible). I can see how that would be useful in any other forum (bugs, questions, beta) but specifically unhelpful in feature requests.
  18. I have changed it to only appear on threads 4 pages or longer (and not to appear on the mobile version at all)
  19. nope I do not think it is configurable, what screen width (pixels) are you running that this panel is in the way
  20. This can also happen on the first document opened when the app is not maximised
  21. @lelo1964 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums 🙂 Thanks for sharing, it's great. The back tyres need some width
