Today I received an email from Affinity, with apologies and the promise that the book was on its way. Apparently the demand was higher than expected and also Brexit happened. Ok. Later today DHL tried to deliver a package at my house (I wasn’t home) and now I have to pick it up at the other side of town. 99% sure it’s the Publisher Book. Happy end at last

Honestly, I don’t really care if the delivery is delayed. But the lack of response by Affinity is concerning. Not here, nor by email. Dear Affinity: just let us know what’s going on. And send the book! Glad I didn’t order the t-shirt because right now I’d be ashamed to wear it

Good to know I’m not the only one waiting One more question: I suppose an email is sent once the book is actually on its way? If it’s sent through Amazon channels, DHL will deliver the package. I’d like them to drop it off at a pickup locker.

Forgot to mention: ordered Nov.30th.

Mine hasn’t arrived either but in my order history it says ‘successfully completed’. Should I panic? I’m aware of the delays that postal companies have these days, especially PostNL. What service is Affinity using for delivery in NL?

My Photo Workbook just arrived, by DHL, packaged by Amazon in one of their cardboard envelopes. Happy again. I wish all of you the best for 2020, I’m off reading

Today I received the Designer Workbook. Oddly enough not the Photo Workbook, which I ordered together. It was delivered by DPD in an Amazon envelope, without any protection (but the book is fine). UPDATE: while posting this message, I received another email from Affinity, telling that my order has been dispatched. In both dispatch confirmations both books are mentioned though. UPDATE II: Affinity replied to my mail and confirmed that the delivery was spread over two packages.

Two hours ago I got a notification of shipment. Ordered Dec.4th, Eindhoven NL.

Thanks Patrick. I just got an email from Affinity Team (Steven) about some delays, and he hopes to ship around the 18th. All I wanted to know Fingers crossed the package arrives in time for Christmas... Cheers!

@Patrick Connor, a general answer about the estimated time it takes to dispatch would suffice.

Good to hear that I’m not the only one who is waiting for a sign, but honestly i was hoping for some official response. I’ve just written an email as well, asking for an estimate when the Workbooks will be dispatched. If I’ll get an answer, I’ll let you know.

Hi Affinities, here’s another Black Friday convert. Affinity Photo was in my toolkit for a couple of years, to replace some simple PS stuff. My preferred digital darkroom is DXO Photolab though. This year I made a career change and as a result I have to write quite some reports. To make them look good, I thought to give Publisher a spin. And while checking the interface, I noticed that it connects Photo and Designer seamlessly. At that moment I decided to take the jump and get Designer as well, and also both books. Eagerly waiting for those books to arrive, which was the incentive to subscribe to these forums. I’m looking forward to learn all about the Affinity trinity and in case i need some help or advice, I won’t hesitate to ask here at the forums. cheers, Jérôme
