There is no annual or any other kind of subscription for the V2 apps. All are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
Cool, just checking. Thanks.

Cool, thanks, but unfortunately, I'm on disability with lowest income & it could take years to save up for version 2.
The same with version 3 & so on. -
Will version 1 end up being abandonware since there's version 2?

How do you work out that its is an annual subscription? That underlined text it when the launch discount ends... nothing about annual subscription...
I was saying that ~ I figure since Version 2 costed money after I purchased Version 1 awhile back, then I figure Version 3 would also cost money.
That's why I figured that there's an annual subscription fee... (Version 2, Version 3, Version 4 ~ ETC.) -

Just keep using V1 until you can afford it. Mind you, there's a big 40% off at the moment.
Cool, thanks. Will do. When I have enough, I will purchase V.2 in Microsoft Windows Store.
It will be a while.Oh, will this also happen on every version "V. 3, V.4 etc.." in the future?

This is not an update. You get free updates for the lifetime of the version. A new version is an upgrade, and once you have purchased it, you will get free updates to it for the lifetime of that version.
Cool, thanks. Unfortunately, I'm on disability & it will take a very long time to save up for it...

Which means that updates are no longer free? I checked the Affinity AD & I see dollar sign to update the product, I saw that it costed $99.99 to update the product that I already purchased a while ago.

It could be a bug in the program, I'm guessing.

It could be a program bug I think...

Oh, that's why.. I didn't put spaces between letters or words, sorry about that, it's been so long since I used Affinity & forgotten how to use shape text..

There are many tutorial on YouTube. They can be found by typing "Affinity Designer" or "Affinity Designer Tutorials" in the YouTube search bar.

I am new Affinity Photo user on Mac os Big Sur.
I develop the same picture on Affinity and on Adobe Camera Raw without any default settings.
Unfortunately, the pictures developed under Adobe are more detailed/sharp....then under Affinity.
I do not understand why and at this moment , I can not leave Adobe products because this problem
Thank for help!
GuyMy guess is that it's a bug to where the sharpness level is not working.

@mpowell just out of curiosity, what is the purpose or common use for the warm brick?
I feel like there's got to be a story there. Maybe a game piece? 😀
Thanks for the assets!
I just named it that, becaus thats what it looked like, using warm colors.

There's a major bug. But I usually use Inkscape instead. It has all the functions that Affinity has.
