  1. Is there a reason why Slug Area hasn't been included yet? It's not a feature it's an essential for print jobs. If somebody from Serif could answer this question maybe I'd be less frustrated and maybe even understand how the Serif team think about Slug Area and its use in their programs. I've bought several copies of all of the programs and the workbooks and I rarely use any of them as this is an essential for 90% of my work.
  2. I'm in total agreement with @Wosven on this point, it seems like a very obvious step to have when deleting a colour.
  3. I don't understand how something as essential as the slug area has been overlooked in the first place and why it hasn't been added at this stage. I've bought all there apps but don't use them as I'm not putting in the time to learn new apps when ultimately they can't fit into my workflow… and its a pretty standard workflow for a graphic designer, i.e. getting files ready to send to printers. So for the moment they just take up space on my hard drive!
  4. Thanks... I’ve been trying to figure out how to set them up.
  5. I might have missed this but was the slug area ever added?
  6. I've searched and can't find any information about this so I assume its not currently possible. Or workflow involves sending pdf proofs to clients and when we do this we always lock the pdf when exporting for 2 reasons. (1) Stop clients from using the wrong version of a design (2) Prevent our designs from being used without our permission. This is possible when exporting from InDesign but seems to be missing as part of Publisher. This effectively means its not a viable part of our workflow unfortunately.
  7. I was part of the beta testing and I experienced the same issue yesterday. @ErrkaPetti I don't know what the relevance of your comments are to the problem and add no value whatsoever to either the discussion or finding a solution. I'm in a similar situation with artwork for newspapers, magazines and printers for that matter (artwork sometimes runs with other jobs and the printer puts it through their own systems and checks. Any helpful input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
