Affinity brushes have disappeared

Recommended Posts

Hi - i recently upgraded (as prompted) and it seems that all my brushes have disappeared... i can select the drop down (in pixel persona) and click on a line item, but there is nothing actually there and it's a simple solid line the gets painted on any line item selected

Hi sashawkdfx,

Thanks for the screenshot.

You are certainly missing some files, which is very odd.  If you rerun the setup for Affinity you should get the option to Uninstall or Repair, click on Repair and the installer should put the missing files back.

Hi sashawkdfx,

Can you just redownload the setup file from here:

https://store.serif.com/en-gb/update/windows/designer/1/

Once downloaded, right click the file and select Run As Administrator.

Also what security software do you use?  It's possible that is getting in the way and removing the files before our installer gets chance to use them.
