Selection Wand - Remove All White - Select Similar

In Photoshoot when you used the wand, you would select say a white background around a logo, then do a Select Similar, I dont see a way to do this here in AP. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try the magical wand & play with the tolerance? That generally works real nice for me to select white backgrounds....

I think it's the "contigous" option you need to deselect.

Depending of the logo, it can be faster to use the filter "remove white paper" (and if there was simple white areas in the logo that should be kept, to add/paint them on a layer below before merging them).
