Dobartas Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 How open Finder and Designer app on workspace? Quote
markw Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Hello Dobartas and welcome to the Affinity forums If I understand your question correctly, to jump between open apps on a Mac do one of the following; 1: Hold down ⌘cmd key and then press the ⇥ Tab key once. As in your screenshot a strip showing all open apps will be displayed. Move your cursor over whichever app you want to highlight it, and then let go the ⌘cmd key to switch to that app. 2: Hold down ⌘cmd key and then press the ⇥ Tab key once to bring up the strip showing the open apps. Continue holding down the ⌘cmd key and repeatedly press the ⇥ Tab key to step through and highlight each app. When the desired app is highlighted let go of the cmd key to switch to that app. Quote macOS 12.7.6 | 15" Macbook Pro, 2017 | 4 Core i7 3.1GHz CPU | Radeon Pro 555 2GB GPU + Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 1.536GB | 16GB RAM | Wacom Intuos4 M
Dobartas Posted August 19, 2019 Author Posted August 19, 2019 Thank you so much. That's what I wanted to know. Quote
R C-R Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 FWIW, this MacOS feature called the App Switcher. It has lots of options. Many are very useful but not obvious. There are several online blog topics that discuss this, among them this CNet article. markw 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
