walt.farrell Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Welcome to the forum, @shauno. How are you getting the file from your camera to Affinity Photo? Also, which OS do you use, Mac or Windows? John Rostron Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 What makes you say it is a jpeg? Walt asked the question above because with some OS combinations, it is the associated jpeg that is opened, not the raw file. A raw file will open in the Develop Persona, and the opened raw file name will appear above the image, top left. A jpeg will open in the Photo Persona and will also have the name top left but including the jpg suffix. It is better to download all the files from your camera into a local folder and then open the raw file in Photo from there. v_kyr Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Do you aquire the image directly from the cam? Might be you just got a thumbs or embedded JPG view this way. - Load/transfer the RAW onto the computer first (with a card reader), then try open the RAW file with APh from there (the computer harddisk).
