Designer: adjust snap intensity?

Could it be possible to adjust the intensity of snapping? I have snapping turned on and I’m shown all kinds of very useful information as I zero in on the spot I’m aligning to.

However, just lifting my finger seems to be enough motion for Designer to interpret that as me still continuing to move the item. My hands are very steady.

As far as I'm aware there is no way to do this I'm afraid. I will move this thread to the feature requests section.
