evtonic3 Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Why does a PSD file color look different in Photo? All the color setting seem to be the same. Quote
evtonic3 Posted June 9, 2015 Author Posted June 9, 2015 After a little investigating, I found that the difference in how they look different in Photo from Photoshop is that the curves adjustment is the complete opposite in Affinity Photo! I thought this is weird! What happened? See pics. Quote
Staff Leigh Posted June 10, 2015 Staff Posted June 10, 2015 Is it possible to send a copy of the PSD file to us to look at? If so, send an email to support@seriflabs.com along with a link to this thread. Quote
Staff Ben Posted June 10, 2015 Staff Posted June 10, 2015 This is actually a bug that I have recently fixed. We actually invert the curve when dealing with PSD import of CMYK files. This produces the save visual result in Affinity as in Photoshop. We were failing to invert the master curve (but were correctly inverting the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black curves). Import and export of curve adjustments should now work correctly. This fix will be in the next Beta of Photo and Designer.
