Purchase for MacBook

Can I purchase Affinity Photo from my iPhone but install the app on my MacBook Pro? Trying to buy at the sale price before special discount runs out.

You certainly can buy with any browser, when buying direct from the Affinity Store https://affin.co/ASPhoto

... but be careful to select Mac not Windows in the basket before you pay (there's a combo below the words "Professional Photo software")

If you are buying from the Mac App Store then I do not know what the behaviour is on an iPhone, but here is the link https://affin.co/MASPhoto

When I clicked that link on my iPad, it opened the App Store page with a greyed-out price and a note at the top:

Yes, thanks. Apple recently changed the iPad Store not to allow the purchase of software not supported on the iPad, and as the iPhone is essentially the same OS I think that will be true there too.

If anyone wants to buy me an iPhone I could say for sure.
