Nathan Shirley Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 As the title says, it would be nice to be able to sync favorites fonts between Affinity programs, and for that matter, sync other parameters as well. Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 Yes, it would In the meantime, if you're on Windows and you purchased from the Affinity Store, you could probably simulate this by copying some files between the applications. For examples, the favorite fonts are part of the settings stored in %appdata%\affinity\<program name>\1.0\settings\Fonts.xml and you could probably make a backup of the existing file in, say, Designer, and copy the file from Publisher into the Designer folder. Something similar might work on Mac, at least for purchases from the Affinity Store. I can't comment on whether this would work for purchases from the Mac App Store or the Windows Store. Nathan Shirley Posted June 29, 2019 Author Posted June 29, 2019 I am on Windows, don't use the Windows Store. But yes, I was able to edit the files directly to copy favorite fonts from program to program. However, an error would occur if I copied favorites into a program that didn't already have at least one favorite saved -- so for anyone trying this, make sure you have a favorite saved in each program before messing with the favorites file. Prof Dods Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Has anybody found where the favorite fonts list is stored on a Mac? I'd like to copy it between Affinity programs. annamilano 1 Quote
