TdB Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 I have watched the "How to Resize" video. When I select my text box, and attempt to resize it by dragging out the corner node, only the box itself enlarges; the text stays the same size. What am I missing? Quote
A_B_C Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 You will have to use the “outer” handle to the bottom right of the frame text bounding box. The “inner” handle will just resize the frame. Outer-Handle.mov Quote
TdB Posted June 29, 2019 Author Posted June 29, 2019 Thanks. But I discovered today, that I need to write the text without first creating a text box, in order for the text to enlarge, when selected. Quote

One creates Artistic Text; the other Frame Text. TdB Posted June 30, 2019 Author Posted June 30, 2019 Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am, however I was under the false impression that I had to create the text box before I could add the text. I didn't know I could add text without the box. :-) Quote
A_B_C Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Well, artistic text is also contained within a frame, witnessed by the fact that you can apply certain text frame styles to such a frame. There is just a different kind of relation between a frame of that kind and its contents, compared to frame text text frames. Quote
