jerieljan Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 The videos pretty much explain this issue better, as it comes with a comparison between OpenGL and Metal rendering. How to Reproduce: Enable Metal and Restart Affinity Publisher (Preferences -> Performance -> DIsplay -> Metal) Create a new document (1280x800). Create a new page. Switch between the pages; note how the gridlines won't display on Page 2 when you're working on that page. metal-enabled.mov NOTE: I'm using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) model, with the Integrated GPU. opengl-enabled.mov Quote
cjcid Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 I am having exactly the same issue on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016) with Radeon Pro 460 4 GB GPU. Quote
Old Bruce Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 Worse here in that if I add pages to the document I get no grid view on any pages and then if I change the grid settings I can sometimes get the grid to show on Page one only. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
