Difficulty Updating on Mac (BARBRIC)

I am having trouble updating Affinity onto my Mac.  I get the prompt, try to download the update, but it just sticks.  I purchased my original Affinity directly from Affinity Any suggestions please

Open your internet browser and login to your Affinity Store account, once logged in go to the Downloads & Product Keys section. Now locate your order for the app you wish to update and click the Download button. This will download the latest version from the store, once finished double click the file and follow the prompts.

If you have any issues with the download, try using a different internet browser, this will usually resolve most download issues.

Great - so I did what you suggested and that worked.  I then got an instruction to drag Affinity Photo in my Applications folder.

Did that.  Now what?

OK - dont quite know what I did but its there!  It opens and it works!!
