vivian vivian
Hello, If I change my computer some months after buying one of your product, can I transfer it on the new computer or should I buy a new app ? Thank you in advance.
emmrecs01
@vivian vivian Welcome to the Affinity forums. No repurchase is needed. Simply log into the store, either Apple, Microsoft or Serif which you used to buy the app and redownload and install it. Dawn Hair
Am I correct reading this reply that if I purchased a new computer I can just download the app on the new machine and login using my credentials and not need to repurchase the app? I will only be running Affinity on one machine, but not the machine I was using when I purchased the software its a lease and is being returned for a new machine. emmrecs01
@Dawn Hair Welcome to the Affinity forums. Yes, you are entirely correct! Simply log in on your new computer to whichever store you used to originally purchase the app, making sure your log-in details are still the same as when you first bought it, and download and install it. walt.farrell
One caveat: the new computer must use the same kind of OS (Mac, Windows) as the original. And if the original computer was running Windows 10, and the purchase was from the Microsoft Store, the new computer must also run Windows 10. emmrecs01 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
