Any beta of Affinity Photo (like the latest one 1.7.1.390 here) should recognise the Affinity Photo 1.7.0 from the Windows Store if it is on the same computer. Are you suggesting that this new beta 1.7.1.390 no longer understands you have the Microsoft store version, and is now prompting for a key? (This is the correct behaviour if any customer beta cannot see that you are a customer).
