razorpig
Is it possible to make a copy of an embedded object that can be edited independently of the original?
thomaso
Yes. – If you want to change its properties assigned in AfPub, like color or effects, then just do it with a selected copy. The changes would not affect the other object. If you want to change a resources content, just give it a try. Or un-embedd the file in "Resource Manager" with the button "Make Linked...". Then you can copy the placed file outside AfPub and rename it and place it as a second resource to edit only the content of this copy. Was hoping for something equivalent to New Smart Object via Copy from PS.
