Does 1.7.0 support Pentax K-x RAW format (.pef)?

Hi,

upgraded to 1.7.0.367 just now and can't develop any of my RAW files anymore. I only get a plain white layer. Files are from Pentax K-x camera (.pef) and worked fine in 1.6.5.

According to this list it does support K-x RAWs ...

• SerifLabs Supported Raw Cameras (1.7.x) & Lens Correction list

On a APh 1.7.0 Mac version with a test .pef RAW image (from here of bottom page) it works too ...

 

You should check the integrity of your .pef RAW files with an additional RAW converter (from Pentax, or RawTherapee etc.) if those are Ok and then also again check the APh 1.7.0 Win installation (if it works otherwise and looks to be correctly installed).

.PEF files are definitely OK, see example below  (same picture in Affinity 1.7 and Pentax Camera Utility).

Affinity seems to work fine otherwise. I can open all the recently .afphoto documents I have been working on and have not found any other problem.

I think I found the origin of the problem: if I disable exposure correction in the assistant, it works again!

Guess, I will disable assistant completely for now.

I can confirm your observations.
With active exposure correction, i only get a plain white layer.
if I disable the exposure correction, I get a normal layer.

I have the same problem with the Mac version. It happens with 1.7.1 and also with 1.7.2beta.

Is there something new about it?
