Frank Jonen
The new marching ants selection makes me nauseous. Can't use it. Chris B
Staff Chris B Posted June 6, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 6, 2019 I don't think this is a deliberate change... Designer's Pixel Persona displays it correctly as does Windows. I'll get the developers to have a look. Thanks. Staff Chris B Posted June 6, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 6, 2019 This looks like a Metal compute issue. I wouldn't recommend disabling it but if you are struggling to work with the marching ants, it might be the only solution until this is fixed. Richard Liu
In the spirit of the question posed in the title, is there someway to downgrade back to the 1.6 version that I purchased from the macOS App Store? Frank Jonen
Yeah that's a downside of the Mac AppStore. No rollback option. The twilightzone marching ants did look cool btw for like 10 seconds, then I had a more complex selection and the nope train went by. Yep. It's Metal. I just disabled Metal to OpenGL and the ants weren't on LSD anymore. I'll just disable Metal and restart for now whenever I have to do selections until a fix is out. It's annoying but at least it's an option.

Staff Chris B Posted June 11, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 11, 2019 This has been fixed in the beta. Would you mind giving it a go for me? I've confirmed the fix but I thought you might want to try it yourself Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
