Refine Selection Tool

Hi Engine,

I recommend for questions like this to check the in app help, I have no problems answering your question if you would rather post here but I think some of your posts could be answered very quickly by a quick search in our help tool :) . That way you don't have to wait 20 minutes for a reply!

 This is taken from our help article on refining selection:

Smooth—determines the curvature of the selection's edge. Drag the slider to set the value.
Feather—determines the softness (opacity) of the transition at the edge of the selection. Drag the slider to set the value.

I’m not sure that “curvature” is the right word here! The selection outline can be gently undulating or it can be a round-cornered polygon (i.e. mostly straight-sided) but in both cases it would be a smooth curve rather than a jagged one.

JMO, FWIW, YMMV, etc. :)

Thanks.  I did look at the in app help first.  Frequently, the descriptions are sparse, at least for me.  Occasionally, the topic is not covered. This forum has been a great help and I don’t mind waiting.
