Master Page Layer expand automatically

Could we please have the Master Page Layer expand when we right click and choose 'Edit Detached'? I frequently have to step through a document and make a few changes to the visiblity of layers on the Master Page layer and it quickly becomes tedious to right click, and then have to click the disclosure triangle or right click again and use the Expand Selection. I know I could assign a key command for the latter but that is still extra work for something that seems obvious. I want to edit the Master Layer's content for this page so please show me the content.

Same at a few other places. When I select Add Pages …, please automatically highlight the contents of the input field Number of Pages. The app already knows that I want to add pages. The next natural question would be “How many?” — and I should not have to pinch the app (a.k.a. double-click the input field) to provoke that question.

Not what you want need but I just hit Tab then number of pages.
