Retain corner proportions on a shape when resizing

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to enlarge a shape with the same proportions while keeping corner tool properties? I've tried various combinations of Ctrl, Shift and Alt but I can't seem to find a solution. I could convert the vectors into curves to avoid this problem but I feel that it restricts quick changes when I please.

Any advise is appreciated!

With the cornertool selected click bake corners in the context bar

This works but it removes the ability to make any further corner rounding with the corner tool after resizing. Plus you have to do it on a shape by shape basis.

I'd like to see a global solution like the "scale with object" feature as a tick box when resizing multiple shapes with multiple corners rounded. After a piece is finished and you need to resize for various social media uploads or whatever, currently it's a pain if you have any corner rounding on your work.

Why use the rounded rectangle tool, you can set the corners to 50% to have that pill button look and it will scale as needed and still maintain the pill look.
