anthony d walker
Is there a good way to correct badly focussed photos, or should I just scrap them. I have tried New Mask Filter but with disappointing results
Staff DWright Posted May 8, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 8, 2019 It depends on how badly out of focus the images are you can use the Clarity and Unsharp Mask tools in the Sharpen section of the Filters menu
John Rostron
@anthony d walker, if what @DWright suggests does not work then you may have to use third-party plugins. I have been using Topaz Sharpen AI with good results, but it is expensive at $79.99 (I got it at a great discount as an early user). You can get a 30-day trial. You can also try out many other similar plugins for free. John Quote Windows 10, Affinity Photo 1.10.5 Designer 1.10.5 and Publisher 1.10.5 (mainly Photo), now ex-Adobe CC CPU: AMD A6-3670.
