magicdesign__
Having lots of issues with text. I reset the text defaults, and it still produces text with lots of style settings. See attached. Perhaps there is another way to reset no style? i have also looked in miscellaneous settings and reset all those too.

Staff Sean P Posted May 14, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 14, 2019 Thanks for the files! It looks like you might have saved defaults with a text frame selected. This will create text frames to always look like that when you create them in a new document. To go back to defaults you can select a text frame and then go to Edit > Defaults > Factory Reset and then Edit > Defaults > Save. This will reset everything back to how it was before changing the defaults. Alternatively if there is something you always prefer to work with you could change the values to that and then use Edit > Defaults > Save, so that text frame objects will always be created using that formatting. magicdesign__
Thanks Sean. I was doing the factory default ,but didnt realise it required a 'save' afterwards. Thought it might have done that automatically.
