Hello out there

To : anyone reading, anyone that may have an answer for me>>>> I will be 56 years old on Nov 14th.  I don't have a degree and I am looking for something to do that I may enjoy and that can make m some money in these hard times in order to help my family.  I feel that photoshop is not within my budget but I found Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo.

Is it possible to learn Fabric Design using these two programs?  I will have A LOT of work to do because I know nothing about these 2 programs and I barely scratched the surface with Adobe (maybe that's a good thing).

So is it possible to learn Fabric Design with the two programs that I have mentioned?
