View Mode Split/Single Problem (.284)

Recommended Posts

Scenario:

  1. Open Designer
  2. File > New, then create some content on it (e.g., text, a rectangle, whatever)
  3. View > View Mode > Split View
  4. File > Open to get a second tab, with some content.

The new tab incorrectly  shows a split view, with a divider and one side showing Vector and the other showing Pixel. But if I look at the View menu, it says I'm in Single mode. That's clearly not true, given the divider, etc. and if I try this same scenario in 1.6 I do not have the divider and different views.

To get out of this Split View I need to click Spit View, then click Single View again.
