It is possible apply as Live Filters.

However, Live filters could be used to create a own Frequency separation.
The advantage would be the possibility of adjusting the parameters, and possibly using several types of blur that could be applied to the specific parts of the image by masking.

I second the request. Frequency separation is a very wide used technique, but it works really bad with gaussian blur. Median blur or Dust&sratches filter work so much better. PLEASE add the option of choosing blur method!
