Fernando Ribeiro Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 When using the frequency separation dialogue, it would be great to be able to chose the type of blur to apply: Gaussian, Median or Bilateral, since each as a different effect on the edges. fde101 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 This request is a good idea. It might also be interesting to consider allowing different radius options to be selected for each color channel? Quote

Pšenda Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 However, Live filters could be used to create a own Frequency separation. The advantage would be the possibility of adjusting the parameters, and possibly using several types of blur that could be applied to the specific parts of the image by masking. wojtek_c Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 I second the request. Frequency separation is a very wide used technique, but it works really bad with gaussian blur. Median blur or Dust&sratches filter work so much better. PLEASE add the option of choosing blur method! Pavel Konter 1 Quote
Jon_R Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Yes please, I realise this is an old-ish request but this addition would be great Quote
