walt.farrell
Create some text in a text frame. Highlight part of the text, and Text > Interactive > Insert Hyperlink. (Or, click on the Add Hyperlink icon in the Hyperlinks panel.) Choose a character style of Hyperlink in the dialog that comes up. Note that the text becomes blue, and underlined. Remove the hyperlink, using the icon in the Hyperlinks panel. The hyperlink disappears from the link in the panel. The text remains blue and underlined, with the Hyperlink style assigned. Removing a hyperlink should take reset the style on the text, too. Otherwise it takes a two step operation, one in the Hyperlink panel and another manual one after locating the text in the text frame. Assuming, of course, you remember to locate the text before you remove the hyperlink (Go to source, from the Hyperlink panel). Afterward you're kind of stuck trying to figure out which text string you need to reset. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
