So did a clean install of windows 10 and started reloading sofware. When I re-installed Affinity Photo the problems re-occoured. So deleted it and it solved the problems. system has AMD A8-3800 Radeon HD graphics 8gb ram will run Adobe Photoshop CS6 Any answers as to why this is happening and possible cures
firstdefence
Have you looked at the processes when Affinity Photo is running, use the Ctrl + Alt + Del keyboard shortcut and click on Task Manager, heavy use app will show in a darker orange. Affinity products generally use CPU not GPU for a lot of the work, so check if anything else is eating up CPU. Do you have the latest drivers for the GPU, sounds like a daft question considering the last statement but worth updating if not. In Affinity Photo under preferences there is a Performance section, can you take a screenshot of that and upload it. And if the latter what are you doing at the time when it occurs? Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
