Joachim_L Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 I love all the small gizmos inside this software. When you are working with curves you can enable Construction Edit Mode to design some helper constructions for your curves. First I was experimenting a bit with this feature, then I thought how do delete some of the construction elements? Found the explanation at the bottom accidently. Left Click and Right Click at the same feels wrong to me. Apart from the fact, that you have to push the buttons nearly at the same time. What about the good old Del-key? But this is not the main point here. Is it intended behaviour, that the construction helpers will be deleted on saving document -> closing document -> re-opening document? ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
Staff Patrick Connor Posted February 22, 2019 Staff Posted February 22, 2019 It is the current intended behaviour of the pen tool contruction objects that they do not get saved to the file. They are there to help you make real objects. This temporary nature of construction edit mode (and to what extent this Affinity Designer feature belongs in Publisher) are currently being reviewed internally.
