marceli Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Hello I have a problem with .eps files. Im using the latest Affinity Designer for Windows version and .eps files from Freepik look like the picture I attached. There is some kind of mesh visible, instead of smooth gradients. Any way to fix it? It's crucial for me. Thanks! Quote
Dan C Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Hi marceli, Welcome to the forums This .eps file has been created in Illustrator using a Mesh gradient, unfortunately these aren't compatible with Affinity Designer currently which is why you're seeing the 'mesh' in the imported version. Unfortunately there's not much that can be done about this, as it's simply not compatible with Affinity, apologies. Quote
marceli Posted February 19, 2019 Author Posted February 19, 2019 That' s too bad. I wish I knew it earlier. Thank you for your reply tho. Quote
Bent Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Hi! I´m triying to export .eps with tables work (full document), but then in .AI i can´t see it. It´s so messy if my client want to work with the document and they don´t have AD. Quote
Dan C Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Hi Bent Have you tried exporting to PDF using the PDF (for export) preset? We recommend using PDF to transfer files between AD and AI! Bent 1 Quote
