Michail
If I want to place a text file in a selected text frame, the text is instead placed as a new text frame in the upper left corner, partly outside the document (Ctrl+Shift+M and double-click on a txt file). If I remember correctly, this worked in the .221. But I don't know exactly.
MikeW
If I ensure my text cursor is active in a text frame, the placed text uses that frame. If not then I get the behavior you describe...which isn't good.
Michail
Hi @MikeW I just found out that, too. The text tool must be active. I hope that's not the intention of the developers. They might think that the text is always placed directly after a text frame is created. But this is often not the case in practice. I hope that will be changed.
