how to make a straight line?

Is there any way to make a straight line with pencil and brush? 
In vector and also in pixel persona.

Hi @mebellus,

Welcome to the forums. 

You cannot draw straight lines with the Pencil / Vector Brush tool. There is a dedicated tool for that - The pen tool. 

In pixel persona, you can tap where you want the start point, tap-hold and with a second finger, tap again where you want the line to end. This will join the 2 points together.

Is it possible to disable this feature? It happens when I zoom and pan and it’s annoying.  I always draw straight lines with the pen tool anyway.

If you draw a rectangle and cut 3 lines, you have one straight line left

Why is this process so inconsistent ? It’s very hard to use letterbuilder brush in Designer.

Also how do I prevent a single finger tap to not be confused with a eye dropper selection for color.
