jwhittaker
I am editing Raw files in Affinity Photo for the iPad, I also have the desktop version. I have an image I needed to touch up and am wondering what is the best file format to export to. This will be for a large print probably 40x60, so I want to maximize the quality of the image and export.
DM1
40x60 cm or inches? Best quality.... Avoid resampling the image, It really depends on how you intend to use the finished print. It's not clear from the original post so I think the correct answer to your question is .... talk to your printer. He or she will/should ask how your image was shot and how it will be viewed, whether you need to resize/resample it and the best format/ppi accordingly. This article explains how large you can print without changing PPI (no resampling) and has some good info. https://photographylife.com/dpi-vs-ppi Also some good info here on image quality and effect of settings in affinity Photo.
