qaman333
I have created custom image brushes (both in black and in white) on a transparent background. Using the Paint Brush Tool, they paint ONLY in the color they were created (black or white). I am unable to change them so they would pain in any other color. All other brushes, do change color as expected. How can I correct this so I can use the custom brushes with other colors? What am I doing wrong? Staff Lee D Posted January 14, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 14, 2019 If you've created a brush based on an image, when painted it will be the colour the original image was. If you've created one from shapes for example, use the Intensity Brush option instead.
agcphoto
I made a logo that was black, and one that was white, using the custom image brush option. They worked fine, but as you say, they will not change colour. I made one using the "Intensity Brush" option, and there appears to be a brush, but it doesn't do anything in AP, no matter how much I click and/or drag... I am using the desktop version of AP and AD, latest stable version. Thanks. I have made similar brushes in Photoshop, and they work fine. I would like to get this figured out for myself. This is becoming a waste of my time.
