Charles p Posted January 3, 2019 Share Posted January 3, 2019 Windows 7, 64b, latest Affinity updates, all selection tools do some selection (of a fashion) but I am getting no actual selection using the Selection Brush Tool. On OSX it works quite fine, but on windows its not-improveed so far. Do not spend time with 1.6 settings... Lets fix in 1.7! In the context toolbar, make sure Mode: is set to Add & not Subtract. They are installed along side the retail 1.6.x version & completely independent of them, meaning you can run both the beta & the retail version at the same time. Charles p Posted January 4, 2019 Author Share Posted January 4, 2019 I tried everything (I think), went back to the on line tutorials but had an issue running some stuff. Fixed that and either by coincidence/ chance/ or better technique the selection brush seemed to work as per the Work Book! Thanks for all the feedback so hopefully I am up and running again.
