  1. Create an index with a few index entries.
In the panel "Text Styles" new index styles will be created automatically.
  2. Double click on the style "Index Entry 1" and change the name of the style.
Instead of changing the name of the style, APub creates a new style with the new name. A possibly changed formatting of the index will be lost.
  3. Undo the last step (menu command or Ctrl+Z).
Variant a: The program crashes and freezes with the next mouse click.
Variant b: The program closes immediately.

Hi Michail

I'm on a slightly later version so it may be sorted but I'm not able to replicate this, if i change the name of the style it just changes the name no duplicates are made, If i undo it just goes back to the way it was without any crashes. Are there any crash reports you can provide at all?

Thanks

Thanks Chris.
I attached two crash reports from December 26th, the day I wrote the article. I hope the crash is logged there. Otherwise I have to provoke the crash again. If I remember correctly, the program crashed reliably with every attempt.

It didn't leave me alone. I have now tried again and it has worked properly.
I am faced with a mystery. At that time the program reliably crashed every time.

I have now done it with a newly created document. But if I remember correctly, I did it the same way back then. Maybe you can understand that in the crash reports.

I really don't know what surrounding conditions could have led to the crashes.
