I attach a movie. I have two questions.

1. Why Boolean operations does not work with lines?

2. Technique of working with AfD tools. As soon as possible to create a group of colorful objects that can be seen in the film?

Hello Mariusz is fine,

1. Boolean operations only work with shapes, so you must convert lines into shapes by choosing "Expand Stroke" ("Layer", "Expand Stroke") before doing a Boolean operation.

2. You can draw a triangle with the "Polygon" tool by setting the number of sides on three. Duplicate the triangle with "Ctrl/Cmd + J", type 360/3 in the "Rotate" window of the "Transform" tab of the studio. Repeat "Ctrl/Cmd + J" as many times as necessary to complete your figure.
You can then put a different color to each triangle.

Thank You, I mistook the forums. that's the question about the iPad version.

Ad. 1. the conversion of the line to Krzywe are completely different figures. the thickness of the line will be covered by the shape. error.

Thanks for the feedback, I saw that the question was about the iPad version, I assumed that it would work similar to the desktop version.

It does, but there are no keyboard modifiers. To duplicate an object you can either use the ‘Duplicate’ command on the Edit menu or hold down two fingers elsewhere on the screen while dragging on the object. Rotation on the canvas can be constrained to an exact multiple of 15° by holding down one finger elsewhere on the screen while dragging on the rotation paddle.

Thanks Alfred for the precision, the operation is definitely different between the two versions!

The lack of the ability to use paths for a Boolean operation is a big drawback of AFD.
