Chris26 Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Since no acknowledgement of this issue has been forthcoming I decided to try this again in the new beta, (thankyou for your hard work by the way). I have uploaded a scanned copy of the print-out and the affinity file together. Even if it takes till next christmas to fix, I do hope that somone will acknowledge this as a bug that needs sorting. Thanking you kindly. First img is screen shot of desktop file after typing and flipping text. Second is the scanned print-out and third is the afpub file. vertical flip text.afpub Microsoft - Like entering your home and opening the stainless steel kitchen door, with a Popup: 'Do you really want to open this door'? Then looking for the dishwasher and finding it stored in the living room where you have to download a water supply from the app store, then you have to buy microsoft compliant soap, remove the carpet only to be told that it is glued to the floor.. Don't forget to make multiple copies of your front door key and post them to all who demand access to all the doors inside your home including the windows and outside shed. Apple - Like entering your home and opening the oak framed Kitchen door and finding the dishwasher right in front you ready to be switched on, soap supplied, and water that comes through a water softener. Ah the front door key is yours and it only needs to open the front door.
MickRose Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 I get the same strange result from a postscript & non-postscript printer. But making a PDF is fine. I seem to remember other strange print issues. If I open this file in ADes it prints fine to a ps printer but not to a pcl (just lines - no text). Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM

This screen shot: Bottom line of text was rotated manually. The top 6 lines of text I used the rotate tool. The vertical flip is up the creek as far as text is concerned. Have not tried with an image yet. Sorry forgot to say, what you see here is how it printed out - spot on.
