sommersethdesign
Hi guys! I know it states that it should not be used in production since it is a beta, but I was just wondering if we might encounter not being able to open a document made in the beta with the final release version. I am ok using a beta, but not if it sacrifices the ability to open documents at a later stage. Thanks for all the hard and good work so far. My colleague is having a struggle with the latest InDesign CC 2019 (rainbow wheel in OS X) working with larger documents (100-120 pages of a magazine). We can not wait to start using Publisher as it seems so much faster and ofcourse adds nicely to Designer and Photo. So my question is. Can we start using it? Cheers, Tom jmwellborn

Cheers, Tom Hello @sommersethdesign, I would not use APub for anything that requires the ability to open documents at a later stage. Especially if you have to confirm this to customers this is a high risk. It was clearly stated several times by Serif staff that they do not guarantee file compatibility during the beta period.
