If I understand what you mean by "this problem", then it's solved the same way as it's solved in Publisher. You make a separate Character Text Style for the numbers or bullets, and specify the characteristics you want for them specifically. Then in your Paragraph Text Style, in the Bullets and Numbering section, you specify that new Text Style.

E.g., I made a character text style called Non-Bold Number, which specifically said the Font Weight was Normal, and specified that in the definition of my Numbered paragraph style:
