Pinnochio Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 (edited) [AD 1.7.0.184 beta Windows] How can I select and change the attributes (color, conture) of the object "frame text"? (I mean not the text in the frame)? My text frame has a fine gray frame. How can I make this frame invisible? Greetings from Frankfurt Pinnochio Edited November 23, 2018 by Pinnochio adding picture of frame conture Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 23, 2018 Staff Posted November 23, 2018 Hi Pinnochio, Welcome to Affinity Forums Go to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Text Frame. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Pinnochio Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 Where in the studio (German) is the entry "text frame"? Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 23, 2018 Staff Posted November 23, 2018 Hi Pinnochio, My mistake. I thought you were working in Publisher, sorry. In Affinity Designer this is not possible. Can you attach the file with the text frame that contains the thin stroke please? You can delete all the rest. Thanks. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
MickRose Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I don't think you can do this directly in ADesigner but there are workarounds. Copy the object and then Edit/Paste Special/PDF. This breaks up the object so each can be edited separately. Or you could copy & paste to APublisher, make changes with the Text Frame panel, then copy & paste from Publisher back to ADesigner. Pinnochio Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 Can you please show the icon in the content toolbar with a screenshot? Unfortunately, I can not discover it. Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 23, 2018 Staff Posted November 23, 2018 Hi Pinnochio, My previous reply was wrong. This can't be done directly in Affinity Designer. The background fill colour and stroke colour/width for text boxes can only be set in Affinity Publisher. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Pinnochio Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 Please add this essential function in AD: - Background fill colour and stroke colour/width for text boxes. - Convert text frame back to vector object Thanks for your support. AllAppsUser 1 Quote
