Beta v162 not detecting update for v170

Further to my post here, I've found that when I'm using v162 of the beta, it doesn't pick up the update for v170. This means some people may not be aware that their beta is actually old - I only found out when I was looking through the bug forum and decided to check I had the latest version (I didn't).
