Benjman Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 As the title asks, is there a way to combine two swatches? Quote
firstdefence Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 No unfortunately not. Other than colours shapes in the document with on swatch and then copying those colours to the other swatch I see no way to do that. The swatches palette has some good features but is lacking flexibility in some area's. Being able to move selected colours to another palette or create a new palette from selected colours would be a good. Considering how important colour is I think this area needs having a high priority. carl123 Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 If you have (or can create) a file with the colours you want to add to an existing Palette there is an option to add the colours in that file to an existing Palette. Not sure how accurate the added colours are but it may be worth a look. firstdefence 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. As a comparison I used this method and took a reading from the original palette and the screenshot one. the one on the left is the original colour the one on the right is the imported colour created from a screenshot. Tried again taking a screenshot with Snagit and exporting as a tiff file, all the colours were an exact RGB match.
