Affinity Photo enterprise install

Recommended Posts

When I try to install Affinity Photo it prompts for the product key on first run.  I am able to input the product key successfully and it runs just fine for that user.  However, when a different user logs in they are also prompted for the product key on first run.  This is causing issues for us.  We are a large school division and we are deploying this program to multiple users.  How can we input the product key so that it needs to be entered once and then not again?  We don't want to distribute the product key to each user.  It's ok if IT needs to do this but it would be more ideal if we could package this with an MDM.  We use Jamf Pro.  I've tried to use Composer to create a pkg package for this but experience the same issue unsurprisingly.  I know an option would be to use the Mac App Store with VPP but we have already purchased a number of perpetual licenses for Affinity Photo so all we have is the DMG installer.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

I ended up packaging them In Jamf Admin. And deploying via policy, along with the defaults file that contained the licence.  Worked well.

@Leigh or @Dan C I would greatly appreciate an example of this.  I have the exact same issue.  Where can I purchase a license for use on multiple Macs?
