wilkinson.bj
When I add an Auto-Correct entry of my own, for instance, convert three asterisks to an em-dash, the auto-correct does not occur in document text. I have also tested some of the built-in auto-correct entries and the ones I've tested do not function, either. Windows, Beta 1.7.0.
walt.farrell
That works for me. Note that the auto-correct settings are specific to a language, so you need to enter them in the right part of the Preferences and you need to make sure that you specify that language in the Character panel for the text you're entering into the Text Frame. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Chris_K
Hi wilkinson.bj This seem to be behaving fine for me also. Like walt mentions it is saved per spelling language, but also requires you to press space or enter after typing to word Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
