Hi there.  I'm a complete novice to Affinity Photo and Affinity Design so please bear with me!

I'm trying to remove the 'Paper' background to an ink drawing I have done. I want the design to be recreated for a screen print on a t-shirt but I cannot get 'just' the design.  Any help would be gratefully received!  Thank you.

It didn't seem to work!  What am I doing wrong?  I've tried the Flood Select tool also to remove the image like it was cut out, but thats a bit hit and miss.  The programme seems to sometimes work and not other times.  Frustrating.

Try the method I described in the following post:

Beatiful drawing, by the way! thumbup1.gif

My flood selection tool and background removal tool are not working at all?  Of course it happens when I have a project - any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!!

Do you have the correct layer selected in the Layers panel? Check whether it shows as a ‘Pixel’ layer or an ‘Image’ layer. If the latter, right-click the layer in the Layers panel and choose ‘Rasterize’ from the context menu.
