Is there a way to enable split view as default?

Hi folks,

 

I really like AD, its very intuitive and very fast. But there´s one thing which I am missing, is there a way to enable split mode as default, or a 

shortcut to enable it?

Couldn´t find anything about this.

Yes there is: go to menu View ▹ View Mode ▹ Split View.

Sorry, vor my bad explanation. I am not native english. 

I mean if its possible to "save" the split view activation. Because if i activate it, and then quite AD. I have to activate the split view again, if I restart AD.

I mean it´s not a big deal, but it would be nice to have ;)

Also, in addition to the question above, is it possible to set the default views for when you activate split view? I work in the vector view and would love to be able to start split view to see vector/outline views, but it always defaults to vector/pixel.

Agreed, It is a bit odd that it seems to have a state but that it is forgotten every time the split view is closed and reopened.

 

no menus or options necessary here but it would be nice if split-view remembered the state it was last in, i.e. outline on the left and retina pixel on the right.
