I recently got a ipad pro and I want to download the affinity app, I already paid for the app on a macbook pro a while back and was wondering if there is a way to download or transfer the app on the ipad without having to pay again.

You need to buy a separate iPad version to install on an iPad or a Mac version to install on the Mac. Each version is purchased independently and each has its own licenses.

for me way it was working smooth on my iPad Pro when it was running on ios 10 however as I have updated to ios 11.3 whenever now I am opening the app it only loads a blank screen on the start up and crashes after a while automatically. How do I fix it?

Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer worked for me on iOS 11, and they both still work after upgrading to iOS 12. Which Affinity app do you have, and which iPad Pro model?
